The Prince lived in the castle, who is the husband that woman dreams of.
The Princess didn’t want to wet her dress to across the river, which means woman desires to be with the husnand she dreams of without any sacrifice.
The Donkey is the man who comes across woman before she couldn’t meet her Mr.Right! Maybe you’ll ask why is the Donkey? It means that she disatisfys with the man she meets by the chance, but moved by him. And then she finds that she wants a better husband than him, thus she tears. Finally they break up, and woman select the Rabbit for the sake of getting warm!
Do you understand now? Actually, the Donkey is the man that best for the woman!
